Damn timer. Am I handling situation correctly?

Had to swap my timer out. Set it 5pm-5am, it turned on correct time, off correct time, but then reverted to its original program 10am-10pm. I caught it probably 3 hours later.

So my plants went 5pm-5am, and light kicked in from 10-1 before I caught it. Should leave them dark til 5pm tomorrow? Or just let it kick back in 12/12 at 5pm today. These are week 5, day 40. First kind of light stress they've been exposed to.

I know I risk hermies and it is what it is, but is this the best possible solution to my mistake. All the other people with this problem had lights left on for days on end. I had 5 hours of darkness then three hours of light.

Just want opinions of what experienced cultivators would do in this situation.

Are you saying there in week 5 of flower? If so then just set timer correctly and go forward, cuz you can't go back (& make sure the timer is fixed!) Should be okay keep an eye for Hermes is all you can do

I know there’s no going back, guess my question is should I turn lights on at 5pm today or 5pm tmr. (Should I rest my plants)
