Damaged bud

I hit a bud with a fan blade over a week ago moving some stuff around, well the bud is turning brown and dying, but the rest of my girl is two weeks from harvest. I don't want to risk bud rot. Should i chop that one cola?

You can Either cut off the whole bud or just take off what was damaged, it won't hurt anything you should be fine. Good Luck

Yeah just clip it , so the plant doesn't try to heal it. Let it concentrate on the rest.

Well i chopped it. 1 of 14 identical colas growing. At least the trichs are mostly milky. It's currently drying and will give me something decent to smoke while harvesting and trimming in a few weeks it does look beautiful and smell great, hopefully it doesn't taste too bad since it's from preflush
