So it didn't make it through flower but you got some great buds? Can you please elaborate a little more. I appreciate you making a run and posting the results but what were the factors in making your final conclusion? Did the plant show deficiency in some way?
What were your growing circumstances (container size, strain...)? Thanks! Just trying to understand why you felt it didn't last.
First let me start by saying I use gavitas and also supplement co2 so I might push my plants a little more. I grew them in 7 gallon smart pots and had 12 different strains. So I started noticing deficiencies around 5th week in flower. Mainly purple stems so I starting adding a bloom booster when I would water. My temps weren't cold so they purple stems from the leaves couldn't be that. That I noticed leaves were turning yellow too soon. I thought maybe it was a magnesium issue and that could be why the purple stems too. I used epsom salts but I should of added some gypsum in veg. The yellowing was from lack of nitrogen that started from the bottom and made it's way up, which it surprising because I was getting some clawing in veg.
So overall I did end with nice buds but it could of been better and more of it too. I believe it was my fault, I should of top dressed sooner and more often. I would try it again but the nurseries around me are closing so I went back to coco.
