Cutting off lower braches and nodes

Hello, I this is like my 3rd time posting on rollitup, Im on my first grow, and so far my plants are like setting records for growth in the first 2 weeks of veg. But I have a question. I am still a little unknowledgable about what to cut and when to cut it. I have huge bushs as seen below and the first picture was taken on the 18th of this month and the second picture was today which is the 31st.

From what I understand it is natural to cut off some of the bottom branches/nodes/leaves near the base of the plant to promote growth to the bigger nodes/brances/leaves towards the top of the plant. I made a thread like a week ago asking if I should trim these bushs and every1 said they look so great to not even worry about it. But then Ive read in a few different articles about trimming lower branches to encourage growth to other parts of the plants. Should I do this? and should I top the plants yet or wait another few weeks to a month? or even wait until the first week of flowering which Ive herd some growers do.

P.S the smallest plant I killed because of how far behind it was from the others.

Depends on what kinda results you want. Personally I like Uncle Ben's technique for pruning to get between two to four main stems or colas. The buds end up nice and plump and all the plants energy is directed towards those four stems. Kind of like what apple growers do to increase the size of the fruit....if you're interested just search uncle ben on here and sharpen your shears.

Very nice, sounds like the method for me, Im going for the best weed I can get at at least a QP from 4 of these plants.
