cutting the leaves to produce more resin or allow light to different parts is one of the dumbest myths in growing
dont do it unless you trying to stunt some plants to make them a smaller shape

dont cut your fans leaves. ever. unless you're taking clones and you're cutting the clones' fans to reduce water loss
