Starting from the moment I put the approval paper in the mail I was a total 42 days. 40 days from the start to get the confirmation of reciving sent to me. Then at day 29 recieved approval paper work letting me into the program. Had to wait a few days for the appropriate day to go down to the d.o.h. Got the photo on day 32 then another week and a half for the photo id to be mailed to me. There real backed up but I read online if you dont recieve the approval letter by day 35 you can just go down with proper I.d. to room 104 and you'll already be in the system. Dont be affraid to ask questions but I would suggest know what you are gonna ask before you get there,I can tell the employees are busy and dont have all day to answer our questions.

For anyone wondering, I had my doubts until now -- This guy is a con,

You do not wait for your ID to come in mail, you get it on the spot when you take your picture. Call Rhode Island Department of Health to verify.

Tamorin has just discredited himself to the whole community!

oh they just ran out? lol thats a joke bro, thats all that place does WOW what a con lol
jdogri,

Actually my own foot is stuffing my mouth as I write this message. From what I *NOW* understand, within the last few months the department of health switched the system. The cards do not even look the same! It is hard to tell who is a bona-fide patient with there now being three(?) different cards(is there a new caregiver card too?). Unfortunately, the patient who had the new card did not want me taking a picture of it (understandable). Although, here is the scan of the card I have. If one could please post scans of any different looking cards, but, omit your license number/expiration date/issue date.

OLD CARD (early 2010)

DISCLAIMER: DO NOT TRY TO COUNTERFEIT AND IMPERSONATE A PATIENT, YOU WILL GET CAUGHT!

p.s. THEY DO MAIL CARDS NOW. Sorry for bashing you Tamorin, my frustration/emotions toward the corrupt had blinded me.
