Curling Up Leaves! Need Help Folks What's Wrong?

What kind of soil & how's your ph & run off ppm? My guess is either too high ppm or ph off?
Under far er review its the light! Duh! Use fluorescents the first week or 2!

soil is pro mix professional and the ph is checked before every use. Ive got the liquid tester kits. run off is still good as well. This is why im stumped. Just watered yesterday. Possibly overwatered?

that might be whats going on because ive got it on a 24 hour on. i started the switch today to 18/6 hopefully this will fix the problem.

It's not the hours, its wrong type of light the first week or 2 use cfl's or flourescent's. They can be put right on top of the plant like 2" away! 6500K color temperature is what you shoot for in this sage its the blue light!

ill toss a cfl up then and see how that goes. Anybody else feel the same way? that i should kill the metal halyde and go straight cfl for a couple weeks?

after having the light off for 6 hours the plants look even worse. Im gonna have to buy a nice cfl setup quickly unless anyone else has a thought on what could be causing it.

ok i just verified online th emetal halide bulb im using is blue spectrum so switching lights would have no impact. Any other thoughts or guesses at what the problem could be?

Too hot bro 29 cel, and its only going to get hotter near mid summer.
You have to get a cooltube and move the hot air out of the grow room and the room its in, get a medium size exhaust fan in there.

Your light can cause this, I grow under HPS, MH, and CFL (it's not the spectrum, it's the intensity... 600w as opposed to say, 100w). No biggie though, just let them get used to it. 4' is good.

Overwatering is a concern too, IDK how big your pot is but I start my seedlings in party cups and water them every 2 days. Pretty much the only person who can tell if you're overwatering is you, everybody lives in different climates and needs to water on different schedules.

after analyzing all the factors I think it is a definite case of overwatering. I bought a moisture gauge and I watered them yesterday and out of 10 for moisture it rates a 9 still. So im conclusively saying its overwatering. Thanks everybody for all your input I really appreciate it. Im guessing the only thing to do now is give it time?

When i germ seeds there's usually one that looks that and i toss that shit becuz it grows weird and slow so i'm like by bitch.

I agree with you. Im just saying even though im paying higher equipment costs at the moment that i dont need to rush out right away for the cfl's. Your right though that would be a more cost effective way of doing things in the future.
