curing the sweet sweet marijuana

so i basically understand how to cure the buds. after they dry from hanging upside down, you put them into glass jars and open them a certain amount of times a day. my question is how many times a day do you open the jars and for how long? also, do you take the buds completely out of the jars and spread them all out on some cardboard or something or do you leave them in the jars? the last part to my series of questions is when do you stop the entire curing process? when its all over do you just keep them in airtight jars in a cool dark place for months and months untill they go bad?thanks so much everyone!

just open the jars for about 6 hours a day every now and then move the buds around in the jar . it takes about 8- days before smokable but if you want it to be good you wait 3-4 weeks, and if you want it dank wait 8 weeks,but if you have monk like patience you can cure for a year to have some vintage shit but will be little less potent. keep it in a cool dark place light degrades the thc levels. happy harvest and feel free to send some rep and questions my way.

How long to leave the jar open for depends on how moist they are. At first ya may leave it open longer and as time goes on ya will have the jar open less. This is how long...........Once the buds feel a little dry put the cap back on.

yea it will but i say doing that in week 2, and you dont need to take them out to move them. just dont over fill the jars makes it easier to move them around. good luck bro

ok i understand better now, but i read somewhere that you need to fill the jar up as much as possible without packing down to hard. if i do that though i wont be able to move the buds around. then ill have to take them out because air wont ge to the buds at the bottom of the jar.
