they were flushed for a little over a week...will this smell go away after more curing? and would adding just cut stems to the alreadyr curing bud be a good way to add some moisture to really dry buds?it could take 3 weeks to cure. if the stems are snaping seal them up and check them in another week. and then another week. should get better.
I cure mine in 1 gal jars. I open them everyday for a few minutes to let fresh air in. It usually takes anywhere from 2 - 4 weeks before they start to really cure and get that kickass smell back.
I'm pretty sure they dried long enough, maybe even too long. They dried for about a week then I put them in jars. They feel like hteyre almost too dry...if it still smells grassy, do you think I should still take them out of the jars for a little bit and then put them back in? theyve been curing for about a weekhow long did u let them dry before u put them in jars. chances are they werent smelling like hay unitl u locked em up. that means they werent dry enough to be burped and ur getting methane smell because theres moisture.
take them back out for a few more days and the smeell shuld dissappate. then return them to the jars and coninute to burp them twice a day.
PEACE
ya they snap very easy. i stuck some moist stems in with them...maybe they just need a few more days of burping to get that grassy smell out.do the stems snap?
so if the stem snaps i should leave them 4 a week instead of opening dailyit could take 3 weeks to cure. if the stems are snaping seal them up and check them in another week. and then another week. should get better.
