Curing finally

finally the time has come for curing, this my first grow so,.............what the hell i've waited all this time whats another three weeks,.........Plus next batch(flowerng some plants) will almost be done.........................i never realized how much fun gardening is!!!!!!!:hump:

only one or two days just to get it dry, then seal it till you need it. cause i keep saying it weeds the same as everything else air starts the degradeing process. :joint::mrgreen:
 
I would burp those jars twice a day otherwise if you dont and leave them sealed for a month you might have mold in there.

Very jealous, your purps look so good, how many plants and what lights did u use?


Report on the taste of it all for waiting the proper time for curing
 
the purple plant was a mystery seed when i ordered my widows, nice mystery seed!........400 hps light and i only grew 2 plants........started with 8 but, 6 were males. But now i have some nice mothers........so.........it's all good! :hump:

Yes, air degrades bud like anything else, but you know what degrades it more and quicker? Mold, and that's what you can get if you cure it without burping it. Burping it let's some moisture out and curing is to make the moisture content even throughout the bud...burp it for the first 3-4 weeks, THEN just let it sit in peace.
 
nice green and lavender color brov. i have a bunch of full jars just like that. i love the way the purple really shows off the crystals. looks great,, late
 
guys... hes not asking for help, someone who can grow big fat chunkies like that i doubt needs some random people telling him advice he probably already knows.. theres a fine line between being obsessive and being helpful
 
Very very very very sexy. Looks like you got about 5oz off of those 2 plants. Enjoy the fruits of your labor. Congrats!!! Let us know the taste and the high when you decide to break them open and start smoking em.
 
Looks tasty did you get a weight on everything? Thats a great yield for 2 plants how long did you veg for and how tall were they when you cut them?
 
thanks for all the replies, the plants were veg'ed for 2 months and flowered for the same..........they were about 27" after the veg.....and ended up around 38" when cut down...........i guess the weight to be around 5 oz's as well...................i started putting the buds in a paper bag for an hour or too throughout the day, i just want to make sure no mold!............the other kool thing is i have some more plants flowering already! :hump:
 
and i'll take all the info people want to put out there............in the FAQ page i recently made the cheap odor control bucket and fan(it works like a charm) and only cost me 13 bucks! I love this website!!!!!!!:hump:
 
who ever said dont let any air in.. i wouldnt do that. I would burp and maybe even turn the buds twice daily.
