Curing.......Can I use this?

I cant find a mason jar for shit. I looked in Target, Wal-Mart, and a Liquidators and nuthinnn......Can I use a Glass jar say from sauce, or like a pickle jar?

I\'ve bought canning jars at wal mart before. They were over by the kitchen stuff. Is that what you\'re looking for?

i guess so...you really couldnt find any? I cant believe that...try a regular grocery store like vons or ralphs or albertsons...ive seen them at all 3 of those places.

Mason jars can be bought in all sizes by the case. Usually 12 in a case.

To answer your question though ... it really doesn't matter who made the glass jar as long as its glass and has a tight lid.

Any hardware store should carry them. Yes you can use any jar. BUT make very sure the jars have no oder from the food. Pickle smelling weed would be nasty!

yeah i cured in a pickel jar once. Smelled of pickles when smoking it, wasnt to great.

Use like a grape or strawberry jelly jar washed out.. If jack in the box is telling no lie, maybe your bud with have a faint taste of the fruit jelly. That would be nice..

Whatever store you go to, ask for their canning supplies. That's where you'll find Mason jars.

I found a glass jar with a airtight rubber seal, doesn't have a latch but its tight as a virgin. Thanks fellas.
