Curing and drying room

Hello sorry if not in the proper area. If I have 2 rooms that can be used for drying and curing that are individually environentally controlled is it best to hang to dry and do the buds still have to be in a container to cure or can they be on a tray or just left hanging.

Thank you for your help

Yeah when drying your bud either hang the whole plant and test the branches if they snap, this is an indicator that it has been dryed sufficiently. or hang individual branches to dry (upside down).
For curing you need to use a turkey bag method or a mason jar method.
Hope this helps.

I have seen people that cure in a whole room, as long as the temps humidity and light are correct I dont think the size of the "container" be it a jar or a whole room matters.

You can build a small area for drying, ideally 65F/65RH so it can dry slower and leave a little moisture which will be removed through the curing process. Curing is a whole different process. You need a sealed container for proper curing, seal, release the gases (thereby curing) by burping the containers, seal, repeat... Proper curing cannot be done in an open room. (period)

Just like a giant humidor if its controlled enough:)

High end cigar shops been doing it for who knows how long

I was hoping to have a whole room "jar"
That way i could leave them to hang while they cured.... despite my air sealing efforts the stink is still permeating 4 mill plastic box with every seam taped lol.

So i gota add an additional carbon scrubber and fan when it gets here ...

Sucks i was hoping being near air tight would contain the smell better .....nope haha
