Curing and drying q?

Ok so I know about curing and drying but am confused on which go 1st? Do u hang dry the buds 1st then put em in jars to cure? Can someone hook a newbie up wit advice?
 
yeah you hang em up first
the size of the bud depends on how fast it drys
Small buds-2-4 days
Medium buds-4-7 days
large buds-7-9 or 10 days sometimes

then you put em in the jars for the long and very painful cure lol
