Cultivation law question

I was wondering whether any of you know how the police measure/determine the weight of marijuana.

For example i am growing 4 plants and i expect 4 oz dry total.

Now the thing i am thinking about is the police could cut the plant where the soil is and weigh the entire thing (leaves stems buds included) and come up with a extremely higher weight than what is actually there?

So i suck at writing but what i am trying to say is when the police weigh a plant do they count the stem and leaves too because the more grams you have the worse punishment?

Well I don't think they are going to wait for you to trim and dry it. :D If you are legal I wouldn't worry about it.

Yea you only have four plants. Just don't get caught and the cops won't be weighing anything

In some cases I have heard of evidence being petitioned because the cops measured the plant, the root mass and the wet earth. Generally it will be wet weight of the entire plant. But four plants in Canada isn't even jail time if its your first offense.

Be careful with yourself and don't imagine to much of the future, only serves to make you further insecure.

Peace
