Cu Problem?

Hey all,

I'm having a problem with my new seedling. When her first 2 leaves formed, they didn't open for a loooong time and when they did they were really gross looking. It seemed as though part of the leaf didn't develop. It doesn't look like any of the leaves in the sticky. There are new leaves forming (I thought it was dead lol) and they look fuzzy. I'm attaching some photos. The only thing it sounds like is possibly copper problem?? But, the other plant which used the same bag of soil, same water, same fert., same light is doing great.

Thanks for any help!!

i mean really? that shit ain't an inch. who would subject themselves to speculating, and concurring. let that lil' sucker grow up before you start messing with its future.

i'm guessing that seed first got wet 5 days ago.

Thanks for the reply. Actually it's 2.5 weeks old. lol, it's growing reeeealy slow cuz of those leaves.

I guess my other concern was that if it was mold/pests I don't want it to spread. also, if i'm doing something wrong that's causing the leaves to not grow properly, i'd like to change what i'm doing.

It kinda looks like the seed wasnt planted deep enough for the roots to take hold. Also looks like it received too much water. You could gently place some 'moist' soil around it to fortify it and give it a fighting chance.

LOL, yeah it's looking pretty sad :(

It was stretched. It sprouted 36 hours after I put it in the water so I wasn't exactly ready for it so it had 2 days without much light. The other one looks great. It has 2 branches with 10 leaves (I don't have pics of it, i didn't think to take them when i had the camera).

If I had something to replace it, I would have thrown it out already ;p, but if I can get anything out of it, it's still net positive.

I'm gonna try and put the soil around it as suggested and borrow the camera again. The new leaves are looking kinda funky too, but not as bad.

400 W Son Argo. First week 18/6, now 24/0 lights.

Is misting good or bad? I typically mist them every 4-6 hours with just water.

I doubt the seedling makes it. And the seedling looks so stressed that once it does start to recover it could take it awhile to get going. I would crack some more seeds.

I mist once or twice a week.

Hey all,

I finally got a hold of a camera. I wish I had it sooner to show the crazy evolution of the plant I posted on earlier. Anyway, I'm attaching 5 pics. These are of 2 plants. The 2 named jazzy (the first 2), are one White Widow and it's having some problems with it's leaves. I would have thought it to be a nitrogen def, except the problem is *not* starting at the tips and working in. It's more like sprinkling on the leaf. In the second I tried to get a pic of the lower leaves and circled them with red. The other plant has also started to get this problem. I'm nervous about this yellowing as the bottom leaves are pretty much completely covered with yellow and those branches are drooping. Should I chop them off or leave them?

The 3 named Sky are from the original post. The one with my hand in it is trying to show that the middle leaf did not even form while that branch was growing. (ie, if the leaf looks like this: \|/, the middle one didn't grow and only \/ is there). When this plant was recovering, it grew GIANT leaves on one side and normal sized leaves on the other. Also, as I mentioned, some of the leaves didn't actually form. It seems to be doing OK now and the new growth looks normal. It was pretty weird!

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!!!
