those are called trichomes, not crystals. those will get you there.

Actually, those are called Bulbus Head Trichomes, also referred to as crystals, or sugar.
there are 3 different types of trichomes that develop on a cannabis plant - although i cant remember the other two at the moment. The Bulbus head trichomes are the ones you wanna use when making hash from your clippings.

After viewing ours with a 10x scope, my wife said they look like PECKER HEADS!
I RECALL THE TERMS CAPITATE AND GLANDULAR, BUT I DON'T REMEMBER WHAT THEY MEAN. I just know CLEAR, CLOUDY AND AMBER. I do remember seeing a great description here on the FAQ.

They certainly resemble CRYSTAL to me.. Nothing wrong with calling trichs "crystals". Very common.

and as for thehash thing you can use your clippings after they are dry and use silk screen to remove the trikes...or use bubble bags and icejust reserch cheap hash production and several things will pop up you can also make cannabutter.....nothing goes to wayste

yeah dude - lets say you have a 10 plant grow. After you clip all your nugs, and tear down the plant if you choose to, your gonna be left with 10 plants worthof clippings, minus the main stem. After you get all the nugs out youll be left with a couple oz's of clipping material, which you then shred and dice to a fine, fine consistancy, which is then referred to as Mash. What you do then, is bust out some bubblebags, if you own some, which i recommend you get befor harvest if you have enough plants for hash making.
So you bust out the bubblebag setup, put them all over a bucket and then, fill your bucket up with ALOT of ice. after the ice, you throw your clippings into the bucket. Once the bucket is full of clippings, bust out some water, and fill the bucket up right to the top of the clippings, but dont fill it TOO much, because itlll fuck up the space at the bottom of the bag where the trichomes fall to.
So now you have your bucket, with the bubblebags over it, full of ice, clippings, and water. Take either a drill with a mixing attachment, or a wooden spoon, and mix and agitate the clippings for about 15minutes non stop. If you use the spoon technique its gonna take ALOT of arm muscle to do that shit. So after the 15 minutes of mixing, you let it set for a half hour.
This half hour allows all the trichomes to settle to the bottom of the bucket -- i also forgot to explain that the ice and cold water freeze the bulbus head trichomes, so that they seperate from the clippings during mixing.
So now a half hour has passed, and your ready to start extracting your hashish. This is where the bubble bag system really is awesome. You take the first bag off the bucket, and you hold it over the bucket, draining all the water from it. This is the bag with your clippings in it. You can keep the bag full of clippings, if you wanna mix it around one more time to get every last bit of hash you can out of it.
So now you take the second bag, and do the same thing. This bag is more of a sifter, making sure everry last bit of clippings is gone from your water.
Third bag, do the same, take it off the bucket, and just hold it over the bucket until the water is drained - this is also the 1st hash bag, the first bag that is going to produce hash for you, because there is a super fine screen at the bottom of this bag that catches all of the rougher, larger trichomes. So once the water is drained, you will be able to see littleblack pellets at the bottom of the bag. This is you rhash - trichomes that have stuck together, and they have turned black from being frozen. So you shake your bubble bag until all of the hash has come together to form on big ball. Now, this is only the fist hash bag, and the grade of hash your gonna get from this bag is gonna be decent, but fairly low grade. It will be coarse and low quality.
Thenext bag will have an even FINER screen. Same process as before, only this time the amount of hashyou will get at the bottom of the bag willbe even larger, and better quality.
there are 5 hashbags total after the intial 2 bags used to get all the clippings out. Each bag has a finer screen than the one before it, and every screen u use it will get finer, and the quality of the hash will get better and there will be a bigger quantity.
after each bag, you can take the hash out with a spoon, and lay it on the screen they include with the bubblebags, that are seperate from the bags themselves. lay each hashball on this screen and put a towel ovr and under the screen, to sop out all the moisture, and dry out the hash.
once you haveall 5 or 6 hashballs on the screen drying, your done. Let them dry and you have 5 or 6 different grades of hash to enjoy or share of sell or what have you.
