Cross Germination Through Leaf..

Is it possible for 2 different strains to cross germinate if they r touching?
I have always thought it was not possible, but looking at my mates setup it seems the case. He has 9 plants - 8 of 1 strain and 1 different 1. This different plant is really detailed and dark green, n the plant it is touching was originally a lighter green without so much detail (same as the other of the same strain).
Since they have gotten bigger the plant that is touching the different strain looks remarkably like it, n less n less like the others of the same strain.

Does this make sense to any1 else?

Well I don't think the DNA of the plants changes as such, but it's undeniable that one plant takes on the characteristics of the other.

I really want an answer to this guys, n Google isn't being much help.. Any very experienced growers want to weigh-in here?

GERMINATING is when the seed pops open and a sprout comes out.

I have no idea what the fuck "cross germination" is.

I'm guessing it's something you just made up.

They might just look the same because they are near each other and so they have similar living conditions. They might be getting less light than they others. Tell him to move the plants around and see what happens.

Cannabis plants ALL look similar to one another, regardless of strain, as they are all the same type of plant (just with different genetic traits).

I'm still LOL'ing my ass off @ "cross germination"....
