Looks like the whole donation system is taking a shit on patients...

The medicine is always free - Nothing in value can be exchanged. Period. Not even a donation. Follow that simple rule and your name won't be aired out!

The only way you can receive money for the medicine is if you are the patients designated caregiver. No exceptions. At that point it is a reimbursement not a donation. Down side - a caregiver can not be paid for is services but sure can get reimbursed for him/her great medicine. Catch 22 if you ask me. Play by the rules now - soon the game book will be rewritten in favor of caregivers helping their patients.

from the article it sounds like this guy was charging a fee specifically for the meds and calling it a "donation." not quite the same as some of the other models like the farmers markets where the patient is actually receiving something, other than marijuana, for their money and then the meds are free. I could say my turd is a rose but it will still smell shitty.
