i havent heard of any death threats towards phillps

any death threats is unacceptable.

people complain about the kids acting like mobs then go out and get the pitchforks out and turn into a mob themselves...

i do know as an adult phillips lied about what had happened subjective or not
I don't know what you saw and posted but it wasn't available to me "in this country" IDK why. so I listened to this:


It was 3:46 long. Was there something I didn't get? Because Noah didn't say verbatim "turns out the native american ... got into his face". Or anything like that in this vid.

He said the kids were behaving like assholes. He said the Native Americans went in to try to defuse the situation then they become the situation. Later said "you weren't trying to defuse shit, man".

Noah gave his opinion, and that's all. Noah isn't a news reporter, he is an entertainer and gives his opinions. He in fact did not report anything like what you said.

I don't understand you right wingers but I must say that I very much despise how your kind posts videos and then completely lie about what was actually in it. When I see that kind of shit I feel like you've wasted my time with false statements. Shame on me too because I was pretty sure all along that you were lying and I wasted time confirming it.

the one you watched is a "between the scenes" clip of the show

watch the show what i posted he said will be there

The point of my post still stands. I'm saying that in the vid of the confrontation between smiling cannibal in MAGA cap and Nathan Phillips, it isn't all that clear what happened. Unless that is you right wingers want to push an agenda, or others want to push theirs.

Nope. Not going to agree because there is another way to look at the situation.

What is clear is that all the other kids except Smiley moved out of the way. Smiley did not and yes, he did block Phillips path. Is not worthy of death threats, is not worthy of all this attention except, to say that the kid should have exhibited the same good sense his colleagues did. Kid's shouldn't harass and mock elders. The kid's parents failed him.

Nope, not played. Also not taken in as you. The videos don't clearly show what happened in the confrontation that smiley and Nathan had. As Trevor Noah said, you can draw any number of conclusions based upon them.

When data, such as those videos, can't be used to make a decision then don't use the data. Inconclusive data almost always leads one to make the wrong decision. So, look elsewhere for information to help make the decision. Rather than studying the inconclusive interaction between Noah and MAGA teen, the tell is that all the other kids had the sense to move out of Nathan's way but not son of Jack the Ripper. Everybody else knew better. Just saying, he wasn't taught to respect elders.

A bunch of grown men (elders to these kids) had just spent the better part of an hour yelling truly disgusting things at the kids. And your concern is for the lying native American man that walked into the space they were occupying? Sorry, I have no sympathy for that man after seeing what the kids went through while waiting for their bus. Go enjoy your comedy central news.

phillips own take on the story changed over time

first off in first cnn interview he was surrounded with maga kid standing in his way and if phillips tried to get past then it would have been the crowds chance to attack

then when video came out he said about the kid moving side to side to block his path

then we have this from him

Asked why he felt the need to walk into the group of students, Phillips said he was trying to reach the top of the memorial, where friends were standing. But Phillips also said he saw more than a teenage boy in front of him. He saw a long history of white oppression of Native Americans.
“Why should I go around him?” he asked. “I’m just thinking of 500 years of genocide in this country, what your people have done. You don’t even see me as a human being

philips was not trying to get past the kid. he was confronting the kid

again there were plenty of cameras out if maga kid had of side stepped to block it would have shown

Born to an Omaha Nation family in Nebraska, Phillips was separated from his mother around age 5 and raised by a white family until he was 17, when he joined the Marines and served as an infantryman in the Vietnam War.

If you ever been to Harlem NY you would see these same Black Hebrew Israelites doing the same thing. Preaching their believes ( which I view as just as nutty as other religions ). The reason they are allowed to do this is FREEDOM OF SPEECH and if you notice they never threaten the brats. They did say that they are future school shooters ( maybe one will be ). They also said they were products of incest....well they are from Kentucky.
So because someone else said bad things about them that may turn out true, they decide to harass an elder ?

A Vietnam veteran is someone who served in the armed forces of participating countries during the Vietnam War. The term has been used to describe veterans who were in the armed forces of South Vietnam, the United States armed forces, and countries allied to them, whether or not they were stationed in Vietnam during their service.
