doobnVA Well-Known Member Sep 2, 2009 #2 I don't think the rain would wash away the trichomes, but too much rain and/or high humidity can cause bud rot, mold and mildew. Covering them up is more likely to compound the problem. Just leave 'em be. Rain is good for plants.
