Cover Up Plant Names

Hey guys,

Well i found a good shop in my area with a nice guy who is all about giving info about hydroponics, but he asked too much in return.

Well all im doing lately is read read read before starting my first hydro project.

So he keeps asking me "what is the plant you are willing to grow" and i keep saying "i still havent decided"

Mainly I need some advise on what to say to him and what is the closest plant to marijuana when growing hydrologically.

All options are welcomed :lol:

maybe this is a little weird but hey, hydro is a rare case in my country and there is no one to share the experience with.

Tomatoes.

Why not just listen to what he is saying instead of trying to go into a debate or discussion about it, you'll get to the stage where you cannot continue talking about tomatoes before he catches on. Less said is better.

Why not just listen to what he is saying instead of trying to go into a debate or discussion about it, you'll get to the stage where you cannot continue talking about tomatoes before he catches on. Less said is better.

not sure what his deal is but any way yes TOMATOS they are grown the exact same way with the exact same nutes.... there is plenty of info all over the web surely if you can get on riu you can also search that. You will still surely need to do a little research on knowing the difference between the two flowers though.

the guy is nice but in a bad way.

for example: my stems are somehow purple and i read all over the net that this could be magnesium deficiency together with various scenarios of people guessing other issues as well. Also saying going into doing things might also make things worse. so I tent to get confused. this shop is one of the best in the country yet you cant find ready 20-10-10 ready fertilizers for example. so when i said purple stems and i mentioned that it could be magnesium, he said "i cant judge, you should get me a picture" lol

he always asks whether its a flowering plant and i say YES but i dunno its name

guess better share it here and learn from my first time soil grow experience/learning before upgrading.

I appreciate everyone's input and time

or you can just come out and post your questions on here. there are plenty of on lookers who are very helpful. As for the purple stem could be do to cold water. In Hydro if the water temps are real low the plant will turn purple and there are some plants that are just purple cause on genetics

And you tell him you know you've a flowering plant but you don't know it's name, man, don't EVER speak to a policeman if he knocks on your door :lol:

That hydro guy knows exactly what your game is. The guys that run and own hydro stores, well they normally have quite a history of growing cannabis

i know all the ones down my way certainly do

and this ent even the states

no currently in soil.

Doesn't matter which medium, colder temperatures can cause purpling stems and even purple buds, some strains are more susceptible to it than others.

i wish he asks me first

but usually its uncommon for my part of the world. all the talk is in the mountains where there are mainly hash growers.

I am acting dumb intentionally with him cuz it seems to work

but looks like its gonna be a nice story at the end
