Hi all,
In the spring of 2012 i worked as a nurse practitioner doing MMJ certs.
There was an abrupt change to the regs on august 23rd 2012 resulting in NP's not being able to certify.
Over the last 2 weeks i have rec'd 5 verification letters asking me if i was the 'attending practitioner'. I called the DOH once to let them know of their oversight yet again today i got one.
I am concerned for the patients out there who may have been certified by me who the state has inadvertently continued to list me as the provider of record.
Given all of this if you are one of the 5 patients who i rec'd a verifcation letter on i'd be happy to let you know so you can fix it or correct it or have your certifier work with you.
I'll be happy to respond if you are one of the 5. If you think you are please inbox me and i'll respond. If you don't hear from me in 24 hours assume you are not one of the patients i rec'd a letter on.
