Couple tricks I use on plants may help some....

When I get a broken branch during the grow and want to shore it up, I cut a few inch pice of a drinking straw and slit it down one side for an instant splint. Works Well...

For pollinating, I just take a male top, put it in a sandwich bag, smoosh around lightly and shake all pollen to one corner, go into the grow room(SHUT OFF FAN!!!), and take a small paint set paint-brush, dip it in the corner of bag, pick your bud(I usually go lower buds for seeds), and just paint it on the flower lightly. Works like a charm. Didn't get pollen anywhere and the one bud I did last time gave me about 20 or more seeds! (the more hairs on female bud the better)

I like the splint idea! Very clever!

To splint, I used a few toothpicks, and taped them up while supporting the branch.

I just loop a string around the broken branch and support it off a cage for the rest of the grow.
