couple questions for you outdoor growers

Hey usually I keep my grows indoor but thinking about putting a couple outside this year. I live north eastern U.S. above Pennsylvania. Most of my strains are indoor but I do have a skywalker kush from RP. I was wondering if you think it would have time to finish. They say 9 weeks on the site but my guess is probably 10 weeks. If I start her super early with the transition into flower be quicker with an older plant. I know you can pull a tarp over it to shade her tricking her into flowering earlier. Any other tricks? Thanks guys for any help

Skywalker Kush finished outdoors in Denver for my friend a couple years ago on 10/10, so presumably you might finish a bit earlier. If you want to tarp them for an earlier harvest, you'll probably need a hoop structure or something similar. Daily tarping sounds like too much work to me so I'd opt for a faster finishing strain. Stay away from using blood meal, it can bring in the predators that will trample your plants getting at it.

There is a lot of guys here who are exp with light deps so u could hit them up.Ive never dine it but its not as hard as it sounds if you are going to be at the plant or plants at the same time each afternoon.

Your going to meed to construct a hoop house so you can cover them but if your going that way light dep u gota do it the same time dark it out and light it up every day or you will have some wierd stuff goin on also if it rains you can cover easily with the hoop house

I don't understand the question ? Are u asking if they will have enough time to finish if you put them outside right now ?

since I never help anybody let me see if I may .

A plant will trigger when the daylight hours for that strain are correct as long as it is sexually mature regardless of size. > This can all so be influenced by changes in climate a little earlier. Some strains will start as early as July and some as late as September.
Light dep as suggested is about the only way to jumpstart flowering early. The only other way is to put a vegg plant that was on 18/6 (24 is better) outside in mid July. It will go straight to flower and stay there . The first of July is a little iffy. I've put clones out on the 4th that hit 6ft and started flowering in early/mid august.
Will your Skywalker make it ? you have a good chance at it.

Organicide or azamax and a worm spray im not sure about the east coast but out here we got bud worms they will eat the hell out your plants if you let them
Thankyou for the reply. I'm not sure about the bud worms. I'll have to look into it. Next year my wife and I are moving to mid to north cali. Any recommendations on a nice town? We're planning on visiting this year to start looking for jobs and a nice town.

Hard to say cali is beautiful anywhere but a lil more up north is wat you want jus check the local guide lines you can do this on calnormal.com they have most of the current ordnance and restrictions but im up in sutter county lil north of sacramento its still ok do some outdoor around here but you go 15 minutes east and you cant grow so like i said check the county ordnance you plann on moving to and try stay away from big cities unless that the work you do, most dont alow outdoor growing.... were im at its just a matter of how much your doing and what your medical card allows aldo if planning to grow out here you need a 2-15 recommendation not impossible to obtain jus need some money and your medical records there so many things Marijuana helps something in your past or you have now goin on will b sufficient

Thanks man Ive been doing some research. She wants warm weather and I want to be able to grow a few legal plants. Cali seems like it's our best bet as long as the drought dosent get worse or make every day living a hassle.

Check local ordinances before committing to a place, Ca medical laws are changing every day. I live in Mariposa county just outside of Yosemite Ntl park. My county changed the laws here 2 years ago. 12 plants per patient, 2 patients per permitted parcel (24 plants max). It was 99 per patient, but they seen all the "growing for profit" growers here and wanted to control the issue, so laws were changed.
The beauty of Mariposa is Yosemite. Between the concessioner and the park service they hire 2000 extra bodies for the summer rush. Plenty of jobs here. You do good during the summer, they'll offer you a winter job.
Hit me up (contact me by private message) when you get to Ca.
