Couple of questions....

Hi , first time poster here.

1 ) Just wondering why so many people transplant the plants into progressively bigger pots as the plant gets bigger and not just plant it one large pot to begin with? Seems kinda wasteful and double / triple handling.

2) Would sunlight through obscure glass windows be enough to keep the plants healthy? We have Aloe Vera growing indoors fine in this same light but maybe they are less light dependant. Anybody know. Having the plants outside is no problem but obviously not preferable for peace of mind!

1)because if you are taking care of it right your plants will fill up whatever pot you put it in real fast.
2)glass windows will make your plant stretch like a sum bitch......if you open the window during the day so the light only has to pass through a screen I think that would be much more effective.

tighter root systems provide more energy and healthier plants that produce more buds

if you are doing a sun light grow start it in spring and cut it down in at the end of autumn and be prepared for a ten foot plus plant

when i start off my plants i start small and transplant once.. i start in 1 gallons, i do this because if you have a little baby seedling in a 5 gallon, youre watering ALL that soil for a tap root lol... i dont like the idea of water just chillin in my bucket for days without being sucked up.. staggnent
