Iam running a 600w hortilux and was wondering how long before I should replace bulb out. The other is I know hortilux is a great bulb but I haven't been to up to date lately.. is the hortilux still the best bulb to get with all the new players now a days. Thanks in advance!

400 watt HPS bulbs are rated for 20,000 hours of use. Even two years of 12/12 every day only equals 8760 hours. I see no reduction in yield between 12 and 24 months.

They will last 2-3 years. But after 1 year. The lumen depreciation and degrade of spectral output is alot. Hps bulbs start degrading after 6 months...
