Stash ran out and my girls are looking plump just a week or two til harvest. Learned about some interesting “rapid dry” techniques on this forum. So I went ahead and cut a branch off. Just one small branch. The buds were juicy and stink like Cat Piss. Trimmed the leaves, and cut the buds up into chunks. Since it’s hot today around 90, decided to put the chopped buds in an envelope and leave them on the dash of my car. About 3 hours later they were perfectly dry. Didn’t smell that bad actually. Weighed 3 grams dry. Took a couple bong hits then rolled a joint and it smoked pretty well! Got a wicked buzz. I think this weed is gonna be awesome. I’m so glad I decided to try it early, now I can compare how the buzz changes with more time, air drying, and curing. But that was the first plant I’ve ever grown. It’s official! I’m happy about that. The rapid dry wasn’t bad! I can see how curing will improve the flavor, burn and high. Chances are I may harvest a couple more branches before harvest though after good results with this test. Cheers to this forum, it’s awesome!!!
