Could I grow clones under 4 9w HFL lamps in a cupboard ?

Hey , would four 9 watt HFL lights be enough for the clones to root in a cupboard ....?

9w? they won't do much. get some cfls that are 24 w each.

Agreed.
I'd have to Google what an "HFL" is before I could answer that.

CFLs lol sorry .....

just could find any with the fitting for table lamps was just for the cuttings at night and put them on window sill during day ....
I will have another look for stronger CFL bulbs ...

I don't think you need very much light to root them only. You have 36 watt. You need 15 - 20 watt of cfl per clone. or about 100 watt of HFL, lol.

Clone's are not so much light dependent as they are focusing on growing roots. I have mine under a 75w CFL and they do fine. CFL's are darn cheap....get something with more lumens and watts.

IDK what socket you have for your table lamp, but Lowe's or Home Depot has adapters for diff. bulbs to sockets.

it doesnt take alot of wattage i used 3 cfl's to root 12 clones recently.

my last batch of clones I rooted under a single 23 watt cfl 12 clones all rotted in 10 days really don't need much
