'couch lock' apply to sativas?

i have a white widow which is 70/30 sativa and Ata Tundra which is 100 indica.

i was just lookin at the growfaq on when to harvest and i seen the pics of trics.

clear = not ready
cloudy = head/body high
amber = couch lock

id say all my trics are cloudy on both types of plants.

my question is...

if my widow (70/30 sat) trics goes amber, will that give me a couch lock from a sativa dominant?

should i harvest now to avoid disappointment? i thought white widow was supposed to be a happy high and give u the giggles. and also maybe i should harvest the widow now because its not meant to get amber trics? and shall i leave the indicas till they go amber?

also, i just thought. im going to be leaving my plants in 48 hours dark. will this help produce more resin glands or turn the colour of them?

If you let your plants grow a extra week than whats recommed its supposed to add that couch lock effect .

I had a white widow before that was sativa dom. the more common widows ive seen are indcia never the less the white widow sativa will get you couch locked

Personaly i like my tric,s to be 80/20 or 75/25 amber you do not want them over done i just like to have a few a tiny bit cloudy still , If you look carful enough you will see you plants leafs have taken a orange hint to them , Microscope is the best tho

I let my plants also sit in darkness right before harvest i think it ripens them up and lets them know death is here

If your trics are still mostly cloudy id say about 2-3 weeks left as a guess but what because some ripen fast that others if i remember my sativa dom white widow was ready before my indcia strains ..

i have looked through a 100x microscope. they are all cloudy. i am just gonna try and quick dry abit to see what its like, if not ill probably do 50/50 amber, cloudy.

still abit confused about it all with regards to the sativa and indica stuff

Thats fine lots of people quick dry some bud to find out if its the high they want most let the trics get more armber because then its a heavier stone effect . You will learn with each grow by looking at the trics what why you like your buds ..

Dont worry to much about sativas and indcias yet they are just the two plants crossed that make hybrids sativas normally take a while longer to grow

well i just tried a quick dry of 1 of my indicas. it seems to be ok. 1 joint as got my body feeling abit... numb or however u wanna describe it. im gonna see how long the high lasts and maybe harvest now if its quite good. i guess 2 joints would of been a better reading lol
