Cotton Candy grow and smoke report

Grow Report

• Sativa like structure that stretches around 2x in flowering
• Not too fussy with nutrients, had a tiny bit of nute burn early in flowering when I tried to load it up but does well with an average nutrient schedule
• Harvested at day 57, about a week earlier than I would have liked to because it began throwing out bananas and I had other plants in my flowering room.
• Grew well in SCROG, would probably have had to tie up a lot of branches if I didn't scrog it
• Got a nice smell to it around week 6, VERY sweet!
• Yield was a bit lower than average, most likely due to lowered bud density because of early harvest.\
• I have heard herming has been a serious issue with this strain, so I caution all those attempting to grow it to watch out for any bananas popping up!

Smoke Report

• Visual appeal: 5/10... Very airy... Again, this is probably due to a premature harvest
• Smell: 8.5/10... SUPER sweet smelling! Sort of like cotton candy actually!
• Taste:8/10... Same as the smell, not as strong of a taste as i'd like it to be
• High: 9/10... Trippy stuff! Very energetic stupifying sativa high I actually really liked the high I got from harvesting at around 60% cloudy 40% clear trichs, just wish the density and bag appeal was there.

Yea cotton candy needs 70 days minimun. I let it go 70 days and I feel I chopped a week maybe twoearly. And same thing throwing nanners late. I have flowered two cotton candy plants. And I would say above average yield. This was my rundown on yield last grow dried and cured. Killawatt 40g, el jefe 43g, el jefe number 2 and 3 totaled 60g, blue hash 30g, cotton candy 70g. So its def a good yielder if you run it long enough. I would give it another go, and look for a better pheno.
