Hi all, I was a lurker here a couple of years ago. I remember doing a TON of research before my first grow and I really appreciate how helpful this site is. I know I couldn't have grown without it.
Anyway, I'm getting back in the game and am planning on framing off the doorway to my closet with some 2 x 4s and 2 x 2s. I'm now looking for a material to put over my frame and use as a door.
My first thought was 1/4" plywood painted white, but it was a bit pricey. I also thought about using OSB instead. But then I was plastic cardboard. It comes in 4' x 8' sheets and is black on one side and white on the other. I think I can find it at Lowes or Home Depot for about $11 a sheet (it's in their catalogs).
Has anyone heard about this being used, or better yet used it themselves? I'm worried about it being unsafe (toxic, won't stand up to heat, etc.)
