There isnt 1 right answer. Some strains wont care, some will thrive, and some will suffer in too high or too low temps. Personally, I keep my tent in the mid-high 70s in veg, mid 70s in early flower, low-mid 70s and drop the temp about 10 degrees or so at night in late flower. In other words, try to mimic the natural outdoor temp cycle. I'm under LED and have not seen any ill effects. In fact, my current ladies are very happy with the arrangement. Just do what you're doing and as long as you're happy with the product, then it's fine. Happy growing!

80-85F. 85-88F if supplementing CO2.

It’s the leaf surface temp that matters.

HID lights produce lots of infrared and radiate heat downwards so the leaf surface temp is usually a few degrees hotter than the ambient air temp, which is why people run ~78F under HID lights.

LED’s radiate most of their heat upwards which is why you want higher ambient air temps to keep the leaf surface temps up.

Look up VPD charts.

Like said above. You don’t get the IR heat like you do with hps.

78F with hps you will see leaf temps in the 80-82F range.

With my COBS I have 83F room temp and my leaf temps are 79-80F

Really you need to match your leaf temp with your room humidity. (VPD chart)
If you have low humidity your magic temp will be lower. If your humidity is higher your ideal temp will be warmer.

Could u take this doubts about vpd charts ?

VPD is a useful tool to help you adjust environmental conditions to allow the vascular system of the plant to get water/nutes from the roots to the leaves. I use this to try to adapt to ideal conditions. From what I've been able to research, photosynthesis peaks around 25-30 deg C, so starting at this temp and then adjusting the RH to get an acceptable vpd should give the best results.

I typically veg at 65%RH and rarely get the RH below 50% during flower. I have a ton of air movement in the room.

Very interesting. I veg at higher rh too, usually low 60s. But try to keep in the 40s during late flower, except during lights out. I have a ton of air movement too. Maybe I'll experiment with higher numbers next time.

I live in a low humidity climate. And with wood heat in the winter. It’s like 17-20% RH

my grows were good. Went pretty smooth. Then when I stared paying attention to VPD. My growth rate increased noticeably. I have 6week plants at 4weeks now.

Everything appears excelorated. Plants also recover from topping and supercorppong faster for sure

I do 24 c in hps and 26c peak in early flower for led.

At week 6 I drop it to about 23c to keep the buds dense. Week 8 or 9 you can drop down more to about 21c
