Dude, if you really want to give a cop a hard time, you can demand they prove they're a cop. I mean, you could just make them show you ID and badge, but by law, you can request that they bring their supervisor out to you to prove that they are a cop. But I would only recommend doing this if you know you have NOTHING to worry about. And it might be easier for me to do it because I'm a girl, and I can say I've seen too many reports of women being pulled over by fake cops and raped.
And iBLaZe, there are laws that cover you while in transport. The clinic I go to actually staples a piece of paper with the quoted law and legal code to your bag, but it warns that the law only protects you if you don't open the bag before you get home. You're clinic doesn't do anything like that?

a few of the clinics out here do that also or have the baggies sealed or containers sealed etc..

Yeah everytime I get care packages from friends it comes in cool packages labled. But I also pay alot for it so I dunno how it works.

if you can afford a lawyer get one. not for you but to fuck with them. drag this shit out as long as you can. a lawyer can show up in court and get it extended. at least once or twice every time you do this it costs the courts money. make it as hard and ridiculous as possible for the courts. this is what gets the laws changed. the DA here kept losing due to the state laws. it ends up costing them a lot of money to lose. marijuana is now on the lowest priority list due to this.

I feel for ya bro. I am also a SoCal MMJ patient and I haven't been messed with (Yet). One thing that will REALLY help you with LEO here is to get the card issued by the county. suppossedly it is the only thing that keeps the cops in check. I always put my purchases in the back of my car and leave them in the bag just in case. And of course I never smoke and drive home from the club

well you'll definitely get off in court, even if you get just a public pretender, oops I mean defender. its cut and dry, the cop was just an idiot with nothing better to do, plenty of those around here, fuck with me all the time...as for your weed you got to go down to the station and fill out paperwork to get it back, I think.

clinics i've rolled into give you a sealed bag with the dispensary information and a piece of paper that covers the goodies quoting legal info.
Its pretty much a mandatory justification?

I would like to start off by saying thank you for all ur support. I went back to the clinic on Sunday and told them my situation. They reimbrused ne what the cops took, plus I picked up another 1/8 so I dnt have to go back for a bit. Pics are in my gallery. Sorry I dunno how to attach.
To answer some ? I bag I got was stapled close and sealed. The officer just kept telling me its not legal to transport weed. Which Is a lie cuz sb420 say its ok. Now I gotta go to court and just show them.
Im not sure I really want to lawyer cuz I dnt have the $ and time. I'm hoping the judge just tells the deparment to stop that.

The bud tender there said he also got a ticket a week ago. Its possibly the same cop. Names simmilar but we will compare tickets next time I go in. We are both gonna fight it. Can't wait to go to the police deparment to pick it up( hopefully)

You don't need a lawyer to get you a court extention. We did determine you were in Cali, right? Go here Superior Court of California - County of Los Angeles
On the left hand side of the screen there is a list of Online Services. You click on get an extention and then just follow the prompts. My brother got an extention on his marijuana ticket, you probably can too. That way you can still cause the court some grief without costing yourself any money.

I'm pretty sure the longer you wait to post pone it, the farther you're able to put it off until...or at least I think that's how I've always assumed it works, so I always post pone it at the last minute. LOL, that way I figure the cop who wrote me the ticket is already planning to go to court. I figure if I do it too far ahead of time, they'll just tell the cop and he won't come. I want to be as inconvenient as possible!thank you.imma look into this asap.

I was just gonna do a little research not postpone yet.
plus I dunno if thats gonna work cuz I'm due in court anytime b4 4/29 so... I dnt even think he'll be there yet. But I could be wrong I just Dnt see how he will know when I go. I think the judge will look at the case. I'll tell her sb420 say its legal along with prop215. And hopefully she realizes how much time we wasted. I could have been

As long as you have your original rec. , and it is valid, you will get off.Either the DA will not prosecute or the judge will throw it out at the arraignment hearing. You should not even need a lawyer, but I still say you try to find one - especially if you want to try and get back anything that was taken.
