Kevin Smith hasn't made a funny/good movie in years. I'm shocked he still finds work. His directing is amateur at best however the man has a great gift for rhetoric. I'm not dissing him for his amateur directing. It's that amateur flare that makes his earlier movies great, fell authentic, and relevant to their time period (the 90s).
