I have a question on my light system .I will be using 6 1000 watt mh/hps with vented hoods. I was planning on running an 8" inline fan rated at like 700+ cfm thru all 6 hoods. I will be drawing in cold outside air do you guys think 1 fan will move enough air for all 6? thanx
depending on the type of hoods you use it may "work" my vented hoods slow down air flow really bad no matter the ducting i use. i have a 435cfm fan on full bore to cool 2 600s thru about 30' of 6" duct work.....
inline liquid heat exchangers... not cheap but effective. u will need a pump tho and either a fan&radiator or a resevoir to cool the water once it leaves the exchange. id go with the radiator

i saw this max fan, its 1000 cfm. it can cool 8 1000's you might need to consiter using something like that. if its still too hot think about using a light mover.
i use a 10" max fan to cool 5 1000 in a 8 X 12 room and my temps dont go over 86 6"above canopy but im also suckin threw my carbon filter with a seperate fan blowin fresh air into room
also you might want to consider building a box to seperate the air going threw your hoods heres a pic of mine hope this helps
