The best males I've found is one that is a plant that does not show sex early (these are hemp dominant and we are looking for the recessive drug trait), a plant that does not stretch and has good structure when flowering (try to avoid long inter-nods between pollen flower clusters)....the best males are the ones that show visible THC on its leaves and pollen sacks!

I wish I had more space for a real selection...however, I have very limited space and do what I can to get my pollen chucking experiment on...

hmm, so that's how it's done? i was just thinking of this sometime yesterday. i got 5 goji's going and 3 of them are males. if you don't mind i'll post pics of the 3, i would love to see which one you'll choose of the 3.

hey Coolkid these are the males from the 5 that broke the surface @ day 34. i have no clue about male selection so let me know what you think. rule out the last male, he's not as durable as the first two, so he automatically doesn't make it to the next stage. but then again im pretty sure a lot of plants can't handle 91 degree heat, so if you take that out of the equation i guess the last male could be a possibility.

#3 looks like he will be really lanky but most likely OG dom
#1 looks like it's SL Dom
#2 looks a little more like a mix but leans OG
I would try and flower out both #1 and #2 (if you have the space) and see what they do in the first 14days.

those are looking very good. how many males did you get per pack? what made you pick them out specifically? do you keep clones of males or do you just harvest and collect the pollen?
i have the room to flower them out, but was going to hold on to them until i pop the rest of the pack along with the snow leopards. i never flowered a male before, i tried but tossed it after a few days in 12/12, and don't know how to collect and store it pollen.

I wish I could say that large selective pressure was key in selecting my phenos... but alas i just took the best out of a 10 Pack...
My two best phenos of Plush berry were
Deep Berry...
This one had a really deep berry flavor that my friends really loved.... Very Zonking!! A little much so I dropped this pheno, she also would show inter-sex traits if stressed.
Soda Berry...
I love the high of this bud... great flavor, not an outrageous berry flavor, more light berry soda... very balanced, feel good bud, and a very nice yielder that can handle nutes and stress.
The jack's cleaner2 is more of a shot in the dark... high male ratio and poor germination performance has only left me with the one lady and 3 more seeds... She smells very Similar to the DNA Lemon Skunk I used to run... 5wks so we still have some time.... like I said, it's a shot in the dark.... but the idea of both lemon's and oranges sounded like a nice mix...

Wow thats amazing bud dude! How did you get the color change, dropping temps?? Im about to start a Plushberry 10 pack, What other phenos or problems did you run into? Lots of hermie issues? Wha tcan you tell me about the strain?

Plush Berry is a great stain but a pheno hunt (like most f1's)...The flowers on several phenos turn purple (while the leaves stay green) regardless of temp... I know a lot of folks have run into inter-sex traits while running this cross (myself being one), however, there is some real magik phenos that are stress resistant and yield big (that's the one I liked the most). I would definitely pop a pack but keep a watchful eye...
