cooling question please help!!!

Ok so I've heard a lot about using fans and cfms and all that. I have a 4ft x4ft closet that's 8ft tall. I live in southern usa so it gets extremly hot here in the coming months. It will get upward of 90 degrees in there if I'm not carful. So I already have a portable a/c unit can I use that instead of spending more money on a cfm? I would think that this a/c unit would b great but jjust wanna make sure. Thanks in advance!!
