Cooling Quantum Boards?

My quantum boards are getting up to 45C/115F with a 6" fan on them (measured with my thermopro), and I can't seem to find any information about cooling them, or what temperatures they should be sitting at. I'm thinking of trying a 120 computer fan.

Two 304 boards mounted on one heatsink with a hlg-240h-c2100b. I've got two of those setup in my 2x4x5 tent.

Some 6 inch fans are about worthless, like some of the cheap clip on 6 inch fans. Barely move any air on high. That could be part of your issue. Also seen a few threads about the 304s were it was stated they tend to run a bit warm. But I'm new to LED lighting, so take that for what it's worth.

This is why I like Dimmable drivers .. I can drop load slightly and get it running cooler.
I am running 4 QB with cobs and still am able to touch slates. Just oscillating fans in 3x3 on a 18/6 cycle. As stated some clip fans are less than effective but you " could " technically have two blowing laterally across boards from each end of sink. But usually dropping power slightly will rope it in.

Do you have pics of your setup ?

I do think the single slates cool better than a double.much better to use a triple to run 2 x qb 304 but now that doesn't help you much . Still under 50c is fine
