Should I use daylight or cool white for my 4 plant setup? I don't know the diff between the two. Or should I use a combo of both? Right now I have 2 daylight and 2 cool white. Plants haven't sprouted yet

you wanna look at the kelvin rating on the package.. it should say something like 6500k.. the 6500 are the ones that you wanna use for vegging.. the 2700k are the ones that you want to use for flowering.. i don't think it would hurt anything to mix they cool and day light bulbs for vegging

both of those bulbs can be used. the daylight is good for veggie mode. usually these bulbs range around 6500k and its the blue and white light of the spectrum but when it comes time to flower time you need to get some 23watt bulbs or equivelent which are around 2300k-2700k which is the red light end of the spectrum which tells the plants its auttumn and it goes to flower when you change to 12/12

That's a bet!!! Thanks a lot to all. I just noticed I grabbed 2 diff packages and was just worried I needed to run back to the store and get the same ones. But ill stick with what I got. Or maybe ill just get all daylight since u say that's best for veg

some people say to use both daylight and cool white at the same time all thru out the grow, which is what i do myself
just change the ratio of bulbs you have during each cycle, like you want more 6500k during veg and 2700k in flower.

Ok even better!! Thx I'm stickin with the combo for sure!! Appreciate the quick response as I am messin with this set up as I type!! Hope this all grows well!!! I shall post some pics when I buy a new laptop. (My son had a field day with the 1 I had!!)

Ahh shit I jus noticed the coolwhites that I bought are only 4100k!!!! I should mos def go get the 6500k correct?
