well the name of the thread prety much says it all...i got little bit of PM starting on my girls, about 3 1/2 weeks into flower, was wondering if i can use the hygrozyme in a foliar spray for a couple days/weeks till its gone...or is this stuff no good for spraying on things you smoke...right now i just lowerd the humidity to the low 30s just to make it not easy for the mildew spores to germinate...any insite on this will be helpful!!

Good airflow is crucial to avoiding powdery mildew. Sometimes however, it can't be avoided when we grow huge heavy monster colas. Neem oil works well to combat pm. A product that I use is by Shutlz and is called Garden Safe Fungicide 3. It is a safe mildicide, fungicide AND a miticide.

I have discovered a bit of pm inside my last harvest and I water cured the affected bud to remove it.

yea i noticed it started when i switched the way my fans were pluged in and my canopy fan wasnt pluged in to run for 24hr...only a couple days went by without air circulation at night for the Pm to start showin...but i actually think i got som fungacide around here somwhere, im gonna go dig it up thanks for reminding me man!

Are you only using one fan? I keep computer fans going all the time to ensure air movement throughout the room. I shut my large radial fan off with the lights. I use a vent tube with a fan that sends canopy air under my table 27/7.

I'd advise against anything neem oil based if that is possibly what you have on hand. I've heard neem dissolves glandular trichomes as they are oil based.

Yes neem oil should be last resort as there are many other options but it does work well. I also hear Neem dissolves some trichomes.

i got a 6" vortex pulling air threw my hood and exhausting out while lights are on, and when they shut off i have a little 6" inline fan from home depot that kicks on right as the vortex shuts off just to remove humidity, and i alwasy have my canopy fan going except for the couple days i tarded out and pluged it into the wrong timer, but geuss it dosent take long for that shit to start up

i did find my fungicide, i think thats neem based tho...so i just dilluted the shit out of it, maybe at like a 6 to 1 water to fungicide ratio, sprayed em while they sleep hopfully this will help a little, its still really early in flower so im not to worried about these trichs...but still would like to now if hygrozyme is maybe better than neem? or is the hygrozyme some shit you dont want to end up smoking?
