Considering the pondmaster ap 40

Currently running (5) 5 gal buckets in dwc. First grow. The pump I purchased was one of the 70 lpm commercial ones and it is loud as fuck and I've read the heat will become a problem in my rez.

Will the pondmaster ap 40 be a good fit? I can get it for $102..

I plan on making a separate chamber for a mother plant in the future so I'm thinking 6 buckets is all it will ever need to run. Is that too much/overkill?

I'm totally new to indoor growing but I want to invest into what seems a very important piece of equipment for a worry free DWC setup....

Any other possibly cheaper suggestions?

They are A LOT less loud when you close all the ends you aren't using. You can keep the pump outside the tent to avoid heat issues in the grow room.

I use the pump you are looking at. Using it for around 35 gallons and it is working great. Very quite and powerful. Going to purchase another to use it for a 70 gallon setup.
