Computer fan

Anybody know we're i can get power adapter or cables to power a old nidec alpha v ta450 fan I found? It's for my grow box I'm making

try one of these from lowes or walmart or cvs or walgreens or kroger. save your receipt if it doesnt fit

I mean if you just want to connect it you can run wires through the holes, spin em, and electrical tape it off.....but that runs the risk of shorting if you pull the wires wrong on accident...but it will work.

Could turn that tilted one vertical with needle nose pliers. Could snap off I suppose. Once vertical, you could use an old computer power cable.
 
yea and if it goes loose for a moment and creates a spark even on going through correctly, a spark is a much much higher power than regular connection and could cause a burn through the enameled wire that makes up half of the motor....

gross. get a soldering iron i guess. youll need it eventually for other stuff. lowes has some for affordable but if you have patience then just order a cheepo from china for like 2 dollars. shit, im an electrical engineer and thats what i use. lasted longer than the radioshack model i bought last year

Hell, you could just cut a cord and stuff them in the ends.....lol! I mean if safety isn't a big issue.

and yeah shrink tube and some solder would work as well.
 
but the spark..... id give the fan a year lifespan if it didnt get soldered. carefulness down the road seems to wind down
