compressing buds when 3/4 dry??

i havent dried in a while and i remember a while back i expiremented with giving the buds a lil squeez to give them a better appeal,

not sure if i should do it again or let it dry as is,,??

anybody else do this ?? and will this take away too many trichomes??
 
I mess around with compressing for bag appeal purposes (personal use only). I havent noticed any decline in the high though.

I dry then cure for about two weeks than compress it under my mattress. Looks nice and maintains its potency.
 
I hang dry for 1 week. Then use qt. size Reynolds Handi-Vac vacuum bags to continue drying 1 oz. at a time. I open every day to let the moisture out the first 3-4 days, then every other day for another week or so. Each time it's opened I re-vacuum and seal the bag. Buds end up dry on the outside, and just the right amt. of moisture throughout the rest.
 
i did vacuum seal when buds were almost dry, my buds came out solid and very tight, personally i was please at the results, and will do this next harvest
