Compressed air to make hash?

can you use the same method as making bho but instead of butane would use that compressed air sold at places to dust off electronics. Im sure there is a reason people use butane over other things but just wondering if it would work with compressed air? why or why not?

I don't think so, because the air cans don't come out as cold as a liquid coming out from under pressure and turning into a vapor.
If not for the oil and additives in it, I believe one could do it with freon even.

I was talking like doing it upside down like you do with butane. To make it cold. Maybe i'm just not sure of the properties of butane compared to whats in the compressed air.

They add something to those air cans like a bitterant or something to deter kids from trying to get high off them (cause that would be retarded) I imagine if it did work it would ruin it prolly. all though they are always fun to freeze your buddys nuts when he aint lookin.

you just seem unfamiliar on how the butane works. its not to freeze it, its to melt it off the plant. doubt the chemical in canned air would work the same way. even if it did melt it off you would probably be left with other nasty chemicals mixed in. butane completely evaporates and leaves nothing unless your using really crappy butane.

you can blast with co2 in a similar way to butane but the issues involved with doing so aren't for the beginner.

compressed air is not really a solvent, so to speak, not to mention any extraction from it would be more of a mechanical extraction therefore less pure.

Yes it would work at a high enough pressure for it to be super critical. Nitrogen for instance, is super critical at 126K and 33.5 atmospheres, while it takes 305K and 72.9 atmospheres for CO2 to reach super critical state. 33.5 atmospheres is about 492 psi.

Yes u can. I do it all the time and the product comes out better. So try it before say yes or no cause the fact is that u don't know cause u haven't be tryed it. How the hell r u gonna tell people something don't work if u have no fucking clue
