I had to go on a small trip over the weekend i filled my bucket just before i left and when i got back the heavy drinker was pretty much dry.. roots felt dry and she was looking really droopy.

Roots been submerged for 24h again now but im fearing the worst... Do you think she will bounce back?

This is how shes looking right now after being in water 24h again.

on the bright side, if she does recover, she'll turn male and give you plenty of seeds.

If you don't see signs of recovery after 2 days, remove most of the leafs in a staggered fashion, so some remain in various parts of the plant

Also consider cutting the remaining leafs in half to get more usable nutrient to what's left

I didn't take any leaves off when it happened to me. Plenty fell off on their own but I still got a great yield off the plant. Was a DWC reveg that went dry like that when I replaced the 6 month old nutes that were still in the tub. Went like that overnight after the change. Weird.

As I said if after 2 days no signs of reviving, then start removing and trimming to help plant recover

If that's your plant after 24 hours in water, sorry bud, but she's gone in my opinion.

Took over a week for mine to recover and gave me lots of pot so I wouldn't give up too soon. Fine if you have lots of plants but not if you only have one or a few.

I hope you are right my friend for his sake
All I know is that when the few plants that I had fucked up by drying the roots out, all recovered within 12 hours of adding water.
I guess it depends on how dry the roots get/age of plant

That one I had was in a DWC tub and never ran out of water. Sitting in the same soup for months and when I decided to get her going again and dumped the old stuff and gave her a fresh batch of nutes she just dehydrated overnight. Must of upset the osmotic balance or something but she looked as dried up as the OP's.

This is her a few days after the initial problem.

And then at the end of her second life. All the lighter coloured colas are hers. Just sharing the screen with a couple of potted plants. Got over 6oz of bud from a plant I almost threw away. :)

Same thing happened to me. I was changing nutes after a couple of weeks And when I woke up the next morning they look like they had all dried out!! I even thought I was going with better nutrients as opposed to the General Hydroponics I went with Master Blend Which is supposed to be awesome for tomatoes... Something really pissed them off but I can't figure it out

Get her in lower light and mist her with water a couple time a day. I had that shit happen before too and that worked to bring them back. Make sure to get under the leaves so it can drink it in.

Good luck!

When you are mistaking Her do you suggest using any nutrients in the mix? I recently picked up Liquid kelp and they say that is excellent for Listing the Foliar leaves

Here's what mine look after getting dried out. Picture number one was a beautiful plant very full and luscious And then It looks like it's a doubt in a hot sun for a couple of days without any water And that was not the case it was plenty full with water Ugh!!. I'm an amateur so first time this ever happened to me

I just used RO water. It took a couple days before the leaves started looking hydrated again then she started growing fine. I doubt it would hurt to add a little kelp to your spray and may help.
