Complete NOOB at this, please help!

Hey everyone,

Im a complete beginner at the whole growing thing so any pointers would help..

So I have 3 pots, probably 2 gallon pots I believe, and have plenty of seeds. I need to know exactly how to put the seed in haha..

I mean do you just stick in the the soil and put it under the light, or do you water it after putting in the seed, im pretty confused.

And I dont really comprehend the whole stage process either.. So is it vegatative stage, then flowering stage? And how long does it approx. take for buds to appear on a plant?

If you can just answer a few of this questions, or give me a link to something that would give me the step by step process, it would be greatly appreciated.

FAQs top. left germ the seeds first in a paper towel. then plant em after the root comes out

do some research on here and other sites or through google before you just start randomly doing things. Take a day or so, research the germination technique, what soil to use, proper ph levels, climate control ect. There are a TON of variables that will set your plant apart if you do it right.

read around hear for about 3 hours a night for about a week, look through other peoples grow logs, problems ect.. so you know what to expect.

Germ your seeds when you think you are ready, cause once you start you cant take a week off to go and get the right supplies, you need to be ready straight away.

yeah i agree with everyone, i started my seeds and then realized i needed to go out and buy hell of supplies and had to truck in bags of soil etc to my apartment and start making hell of noise. planning is the biggest step i think, but for your first grow you can't plan enough. just come on here everyday and check on posts and put everything you read in the back of your head so when you see yellow leaves you already know what to do.

i done it all wrong, i started germing before i started reading then had to do a wholeeee lot of reading!
like 7 hours a night skim reading for a week whilst laying in bed

i germd 4 seeds without having any pots or lights prepared!
Didnt expect it to work...
then had to rush out to get lights without much clue as to what exactly i was looking for 2700k, 5000k ect...

if i started a new grow now it would be much more organized, but i got 3 babies i gota take care of for now

And whatever you do DONT GET DISCOURAGED. You may lose a few plants at first, just learn from the mistakes and in the back of your mind always think of how you can improve the environment. Once you get it down, you wont want to buy another bag.

Haha, I hope I do want to get that feeling of never wanting to buy again.

i got that feeling and i aint even started flowering yet lol.

Its not that hard..so why buy when you can grow
