Commenting on people's replies

Hey guys, when I post threads I get good info from all you people. The thing is, I might have 5 ppl reply to my message and I want to reply back to each message to tell the person thank you and maybe ask them what they do.
So can I reply to someone without it showing up on my thread?

The purpose of threads is to reply you can write your message in the thread not quoting anyone or you can hit the reply message and quote the users who replied to you

You can start a conversation with anyone. Just click on their name and choose "Start a Conversation".
