what are your career's? growing could be included in that
well I can't tell you the name of my school for safety reasons but I'm a Computer Science Major. I'm taking a class on AI next semester and I'm psyched about it. I'm also Minoring in Philosophy.

Its not unheard of to make a six figure income ill tell you that. My brother took the same course and currently works for an oil company he has paid house/food and company car and still makes an amazing salary.

I am going to school for nursing. but I don't want to be a fucking nurse or even a doctor. I only convinced myself that I did because of the money. but now I'm trying to find a career that I can enjoy and make an annual six figure salary in. my major for the first year of school is general studies so I have another year to figure it out...

I'm studying computer science as well. I first got into because I played a lot of computer games and figured this would be a good outlet for my energy that is still related to what I love. However now, I'm not as stoked to make video games (not that great of pay compared to other jobs, but you get to make video games so I dunno) because CS has really opened up a lot of doors related to the computers. I am not sure what I'll be doing when I graduate but I figure I'll just go with everything and take opportunites when I get them and who knows. Just by getting work experience in my field maybe I'll find something or some position I want to strive for. Maybe my dream career will find me.

computer science can take you so many places. the opportunities in that field are almost endless due to the movement into technological reliance. you will have no problem at all finding a job and a lot of them at high paying. $80,000 to almost $200,000. You made a good choice. I'm still going to go to school for nursing and I'll get my bachelor degree, then I want to join the peace core before I go to graduate school. that way I will have experience in my field, money for school...and that will look good for my future employers to look at and shit.

i went to a big university, 8 years. got an engineering degree and got into grad school. i got a master's degree in engineering and got a job before i graduated. research and product development in the consumer electronics industry.
it's fun, i hardly think of my job as "work". i get paid very well and get perks from my position. i brought home a load of nerd gadgets from the last conference i went to, sold stuff i didn't want for $600 on ebay.

ha, what i do at work?
i get in at 6am, chitchat and read the news paper with coworkers, drink a cup of coffee.
7am, i go down to the lab, try to remember what i was working on the day before. check my experiments, mix some stuff.
8am, coffee #2, smooze with management that's getting in and doing the coffee/newspaper deal.
9am, back to the lab, poke around, run some test.
10am, meeting, coffee #3 (caffiene is a great drug)
11am, meeting
noon, lunch, if i can get sales/management come with me, they pay.
1pm, lab
2pm, meetings
3pm, home
