Yea, I don't think he does the show high but he's said he write most of the jokes high. There's always a couple stoner related jokes in every show.

Colbert a pothead? I think not. He makes a lot of pot jokes, but when he interviewed someone on medical marijuana and the guy from MPP he was completely against marijuana for any type of use. He even talked down about the use of hemp for industrial use...

Colbert is not the person he is on the show. The Colbert Report is a character he's created, it's not him. I dunno if i'd really, truthfully want someone like Stephen Colbert or John Stewart as President. I don't think they'd take it seriously...

Not sure. But how are we to know? all we know is what they tell us...at least me anyway. It doesn't affect me enough to take initiative. America's too big, IMO, and nobody's ever kicked our ass, so we don't feel like we have to take it seriously? not sure, just speculating. But in Europe, everybody who had a great big Empire got their asses kicked, then sorta chilled out. Spain, Holland, France, England. Germany to an extent. Austria. Portugal. ROME. lol. that's sort of insignificant, but to the same effect. whatever. I'm done.

you have to remember that colberts primary objective in every interview is to absolutely 100% without remorse BREAK the other persons balls. if theyre pro choice he's pro life. they like obama, he voted for mccain. they want marijuana reformn he hates weed. thats what is so hilarious about the show!
