Colas charred from touching the light...

I got greedy and let my plant veg for too long and wasn't vigilant about keeping colas tied down. So... today when checking up on my plants, 3 of the colas were touching the lights and they turned crispy brown. I'm on day 15 of flower, so there aren't any buds formed yet but since they were the colas, the juiciest hairiest portions have been damaged.

The lights are already pretty much as high as they can go and I've started to aggressive tie down everything to prevent it from happening again. It sucks but I'll take the yield loss on the chin and try to move on...

My question is... what should I do about the burnt portions? Should I remove the entire node? Or would it be better to just cut around the brown portions and hope it grows back?

I have some Kelp, Fulvic acid and Naphthaleneacetic acid (NAA Rooting hormone) on hand, will foliar spraying the affected colas help with the healing?

How will this affect those colas in the next 6 weeks? Are they DOA or just stunted? If I remove the entire node, will it stress the rest of the plant out much (and possibly cause hermis)?

Please take a gander at the pictures and assess the damage.

Thanks.

Not too bad that its the begining of flwering, may stunt it a bit,but just carry on and should recover from it easy.

thanks for the reply.

i read around and that seems to be the prevailing wisdom.

i have a leaf that was also burnt, that can also just be left alone too, eh?

You dont realy want to be cutting and topping during flower as this can stress the plant out, even though the frying wouldv stressed to some level, but just let it grow and keep an eye on it maby delayed it for a bit week or so but should be ok.
